About the Funday
Ivybridge Funday is organised by the Lions club of Ivybridge and has been organised by the club for many years. The aim of providing a fun day for the residents of Ivybridge and surrounding areas and raise funds for some local beneficiaries.
There are lots of activities and live performers keeping the crowds entertained throughout the day.
The whole event is about providing a great day out for the family with many things to see and do right up until the closing time. Ivybridge Funday is the probably the biggest event of the year in Ivybridge. Finding us
Friday 12th July – Ticket only
On the evening before The Lion’s Fun Day, Joey and the Lips will be performing at 8pm on the main stage at Ivybridge Rugby Club. The warm-up act will be King Dinosaur who will start at 7pm.
Tickets are £15.50 in advance, £20 on the gate (which includes entry to the Lions Fun Day the following day Saturday 13th July)
Joey the Lips gigs are a hi-energy show featuring high quality vocals, a driving rhythm section and killer horns. It’s now a huge 25 years on the road during which the band has played throughout the UK and Europe across a huge variety of venues. From TV chat shows to headlining to a 10,000 audience at music festivals. From supporting Will Young, Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, Toyah, Heaven 17, The Real Thing & Edwin Starr to performing at the British Formula 1 Grand Prix Silverstone and celebrity weddings, notably Eamonn Holmes & Ruth Langsford.
